Learn how to use your schoolyard as an outdoor classroom and to incorporate curriculum and nature into outdoor play at the SDCaN Schoolyard Habitat Workshops.

Presentations will focus on:

  • Planning the native plant garden in your schoolyard
  • Selecting the plants,
  • Planting and maintaining native plants
  • Using the schoolyard habitat for nature-based learning.

Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 9:00 am  –  3:00pm at the San Diego Botanical Garden
Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 9:00 from 9:00 am  –  3:00pm at the Water Conservation Garden

There will be a $20 fee to attend which includes continental breakfast, beverages and snacks that will be available all day.
